In order to support the evolution of our quality systems, we are looking for a Quality, Compliance & Continuous Improvement Manager for our production center located in Varennes, on Montreal's South Shore.

JOB DESCRIPTION – QUALITY, COMPLIANCE & CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT MANAGER

You are:

Rigorous, autonomous and proactive
Comfortable on the production floor as well as in quality systems management
Motivated to modernize and digitize processes
Able to rally teams around a food safety culture
French-speaking with a functional level of English

You have:

Significant experience in food quality and safety in Quebec's food industry
A strong command of the SQF Edition 9 standard — having led a certification audit is a major asset
Knowledge of the Canadian regulatory framework: CFIA, HACCP, SFCR
Comfort with quality management software and digital tools

Your responsibilities:

Maintain and evolve the SQF Edition 9 system, including preparation and coordination of the annual certification audit
Manage and update the HACCP plan, prerequisite programs and quality documentation
Handle CFIA files and ensure regulatory compliance for ingredients and finished products
Coordinate internal and external audits and follow up on non-conformances
Be present on the production floor to support teams and embed a quality culture daily
Train employees on food safety standards and good manufacturing practices
Digitize and optimize quality tools and processes
Collaborate with the product development team to ensure compliance from the earliest stages
Implement and monitor food fraud, food defense and traceability programs
